Arthur Swinton Pearce

Douglas Grant Pearce wrote 20 November 2010: "Known as Swinton. Living with Aunt Annie Hurst in 1881. Apprentice watchmaker. Found in the 1910 (retired!) and 1930 censuses living in Newark,NJ, with wife Susie. No children. I do recall that when Susie died, in the 50s, that there was a small bequest for William Callaway. That’s when I learned what a codicil was. She changed her mind a few times about the outfitting of her funeral plot."

Douglas wrote in January 2011: Swinton and wife Susie lived in Newark, NJ. In the 1910 census, age 44, he was retired. In 1911, Lincoln lived with his parents in Toronto. He was a checker at the railway station. I am still hunting for Lionel and Thomas, my last holdouts, apart from the Bristol unknowns, of course.
