THE NEW VICAR OF HILL. INSTITUTED BY THE BISHOP OF GLOUCESTER
Yesterday evening the Rev W A Chaplin was instituted and inducted vicar of Hill, near Falfield, Gloucestershire. The institution was performed by the Bishop of the diocese (the Right Rev Dr Gibson) and the induction by the Archdeacon of Gloucester.......... After leaving Oxford the Rev W A Chaplin held a curacy at St John's, Clapham, and subsequently he was for five years succentor at Southwark Cathedral.
